what is better with Megs 105, surbuf or lc ultrafiber pads

    Hello,

I am going to attempt to remove some heavy swirls and a couple of rids on my truck. Bought it at an awesome price but it included the dealer installed swirls lol. It's a black 08 GMC sierra I'll be putting up pics of before during and after. The truck ours great and the price was awesome, but the swirls are so bad, you can almost read them like Braille.

Anyway, I want to get some pads for this and I was looking at the lc ultra fiber pads and the surbuf pads, I saw the surbuf on a video on YouTube and looked pretty good. I will be using foam for finishing but out will be a LC CCS pad, poetically black or blue. Either 205 or a Menzerna product and a PC XP.

Thanks in advance guys and girls, always looking for better ways.

Oh I will also be damp sanding with the 1500, 3000 and maybe the 5000 trizact pads for some repaint orange peel and rids

I have never used the Surbuf MF pads but I have used Megs MF cutting pads and the new LC MF pads. They are both exceptional products. I can say that the LC MF pads are very firm in comparison to the Megs pads and they seem to provide slightly faster defect removal. From what I hear the Surbuf pads are probably similar to the new LC pads. I like to use them with D151 for moderate scratch/swirl removal.

Thanks I think I will go with the 151 first and then go from there
