Product for seats that are mixed leather and vinyl

I have been reading the recommendations for leather, but the seats on many vehicles have been half vinyl and half coated leather for a couple of decades now. Since most products are for one or the other and not both, what to use? And i assume most of the best leather products were formulated for untreated leather. I've used Lexol for years as it doens't seem to be somewhat benign as it has little oil. After trying Leatherique, i felt like i was just smearing oil on the top wasting my time. Of course the issue of whether the coating has worn away is a sided complicaton. Door panels are mixed also. Some of this coated leather looks like vinyl. It's very tough to tell the diff unless the vehicle has a lot of wear. But point being, i don't want to try to identify and use diff products. Thoughts?

I agree with the recommendation of Protectant 303. Leather balms such as Lexol and Leatherique are very good on natural, untreated leather because they soak in and "feed" the leather. Unless you have some exotic foreign car the chances are your seats are leather with a vinyl coating. The coating is there to prevent absorption into the leather of spilled liquids and material that might damage the leather itself. If anything gets through it to the leather, including leather balm, the coating is not working and if the balm can't get through the coating to the leather it becomes virtually useless. Use the leather balms on purses and jackets and use 303 on the car seats. I like it because you can apply it easily and control the amount of shine you want by buffing. Also, 303 has a very high UV protection rating unlike dedicated leather products which have virtually none. Here under the intense Texas summer sun where I live that is a huge factor to consider.

I have to put in a vote for Blackfire Interior Protectant. I got it on a recent BOGO and it is fantastic on leather and vinyl. The seats in my Mustang and Thunderbird are a combination of both and the look is natural and non-greasy. Great stuff!

I use the wolfgang leather cleaner and conditioner combo on both my vehicles with fantastic results every time. And to answer your questions this combo is great on both leather and vinyl since one of my vehicles has all leather and the other has vinyl seats and it cleans them all the time with no problem. Just make sure you work the cleaner in with a upholstery brush first then wipe with a microfiber towel afterwards.
