Can I use the same pads on the 2011 Tacoma and the 1994? Also 2011 Tacoma is parked outside all day do I need to polish? FYI - I have never waxed a car before.

You definitely need to clay and if you want to remove swirls, scratches and oxidation then you definitely want to polish the paint before waxing. You could use a one step cleaner/wax also.
Also, here's a 1994 Toyota Truck that I buffed out using a rotary buffer for and extreme makeover. The truck was never washed or waxed from the time it was purchased new till the time I buffed it out...

That is exactly what I am hoping for on my father in-laws P/U....or at least something close. His looks simmilar to your before picture. I will clay both trucks polish and wax! Thanks Mike

Look at the first picture I took of the oxidized finish. That's why I'm talking about in this article.
The power in the after shots is created in the before shots
Most people either,
- Don't take good before shots
- Take the before shot AFTER they or someone else has buffed a section of the panel which ruins the overall "effect" of the before shot.
Something to think about...
