    Question CG Pete's 53 or 5050?

I am currently using Blacklight and V7 and wanted to top the Blacklight with a wax followed by V7.
According to CG website Pete's 53 is specially formulated for dark cars. I have a black C63, would this be the better option?
The 5050 is a little more expensive than Pete's 53, does this mean it's better?

both are great waxes cant go wrong with either one. I have used 50/50 on black cars with fantastic results.

    Wait... hold... da'... phone!

I thought sealants only ever went FIRST, followed by a top-coat carnauba, and a detail mist, with spray wax applications to maintain for a few weeks until the top-coat carnauba needed reapplied!? Say whaaaaaat?

    V7 it's really a sealant..it's more of a spray wax..

I am fairly new to all this and still learning so not really sure which order i should apply products.
Shall I even bother getting a dedicated wax?

    A) Seriously? I thought all their write ups called it a spray-sealant with polymers, more than just a spray carnauba, much like their Blitz product, but without the acrylic. So, it isn't a sealant with man-made materials at all, needs zero curing time, and can be used solely as a spray wax independent of a real spray sealant or paste sealant? (So, what true spray sealants exist that need curing and offer heightened protection more than just a spray carnauba)?

    B) I just read that even Meg's Synthetic Spray Detailer has polymers in it that achieve best protection after 12 hours of curing time. Does that mean I can't use Meg's Synthetic Spray Detailer between coats of wax since wax should only ever be applied OVER a sealant, and that I need to wait 12 hours before misting my car again with Synthetic Spray Detailers of any type?

I think the advantage of Pete's is that it's a WOWO product as for 5050 you have to let it cure. Both are awesome though.

I love 5050 - yet to try Pete's though. Also, I tend to prefer paste waxes that require dwell time.

    I agree.

I used Glossworkz Glaze as a base followed by V07 followed by 50/50 and I must say that it was pretty impressive. 50/50 over Glossworkz Glaze was just as impressive.
