    Those swirls looked pretty bad!

I would agree that it appears something was on the glass or pad that scratched it up. Using the drill had to add some difficulty as well.

I've had great results finishing with the cyan pad but I believe an orange pad would work as well. Maybe not quite as well but definitely should work. The foam doesn't cut glass obviously but it's firm enough under pressure and speed to allow the cerium abrasives to do there job... Just takes more time than the glass pads that are currently available.
Thank you! I did go back this morning with my own cerium mix and a clean GPP and was able to get most of them out and down to very faint marks. Probably a little more time and I could correct it to almost perfect. So I am going to purchase a few of the blue cyan HT pads and try my luck with the cerium again to finish it and see how that works.

Excellent! I bet you were breathing a sigh of relief. It's never fun when you take a step backwards! I know.... Lol

If you already have an equivalent firm or similar foam pad you might try that first to make sure it works for you before spending your dough.

Sure was! I was in a panic all night because of it lol.

I do have a very firm 4" orange pad as well as the same firm orange pad for my flex 3401. I probabaly won't be able to get the flex in that spot though as it is close to the very top of the glass near the trim. So I might just go back with my 4" orange pad and my cerium mix. Sound good?

finally had a chance to go at those swirls with my 3" Cyan HT pad on my corded drill and was able to get most if not all of them out! That pad really does work good on glass.
