Um...clear coat is a permanent paint coating. And we all know that clear coat isnt permanent. Just because it came from the factory shiny does not mean it stays that way. So you're telling me a 60 dollar tube that you wipe on offers more protection than a two part mixed urethane coating that is sprayed on? Can resist gasoline and other solvents?? Come on guys really??? I know most here are really mentally disturbed OCD people disguised as detailers but I really need some other paint and body guys to chime in. An 1800 wax to protect a 1000 paint job.....

Clear coat is paint without pigment. Yes they can resist them. They don't last forever, GTechniq says C1 will last 5 years, which is way more than a coat of wax will last.
If you are referring to expensive wax, then its about the look as much as anything else. Swissvax Crystal Rock in 3 layers lasts about a year max.

Evidently you haven't done all of your homework. Search around, there is plenty of technical information and demonstrated proof of what we're talking about, here. (Note that much of it exists outside of this particular forum/site, but it's not hard to find.)
Sorry, but "paint and body guys" don't typically know much about waxes/sealants/coatings. They're not going to be much help to you on that front.

Evidently you missed the point of what I was saying. Good day Sir.

Well, I tested CQuartz and Opticoat with Muratic Acid and Straight Chlorine as well as other things and yes it resisted them. Check out the videos in my thread for yourself.

Did you also dump those same chemicals on untreated paint? If so what was the outcome? Just curious what the control was in this experiment.

Do you understand the purpose of permanent paint coatings and how they completely differ from clear coat?

Absolutely. I've been to the product(s) websites, watched the YouTube videos and did my homework.
I'm not even going to dive into the fact that these are called permanent paint coatings but Cquartz says "up to two years."
I simply want to know what method was used to determine that it resisted gasoline and acid. I think I might get some test it out myself.
