unless you are a pro id run from a rotary polisher. have someone smuggle in a da for you and avoid burned edges, etc.

Stay away from the rotory unless you have experiance with it. Order one and wait for it to come. Meguiars is availible as 22o volt. NOt sure about the PC.

A lot of issues recently with the Meg. I'd go with the Griot's, which has a life-time warranty or the Porter Cable.

I'm with the others who say don't start with a rotary. There's a large learning curve with a rotary.
The DA is user friendly, and less likely to cause damage. It will give you just as good results with proper technique.
I currently have two Porter Cables and I enjoy using them. I really don't like that they don't have forced rotation though. For that reason I'll be in the market for either a Flex, or Griots soon.
But, to start with...I'd go with the Porter Cable. The forced rotation being absent will actually probably be beneficial in your case being that you are starting out. Good luck.

If you google Kestrel "DA-6" you will find it on British, Australia, New Zealand forums.
In South Africa it is Shield DA-6 and you can find information in crazydetailer forum.
Price 30-50% less than G220V2. If money no problem, you can get the Flex 3401 from autogeek, otherwise get the Kestrel. You also need to get pads.
