Removing scratches from chrome and polishing
I am looking for a good product to polish chrome and then a wax of some type that is meant to make it pop and protect it after the polish. Also i was looking for advise on how to remove any minor imperfections on the chrome finish ie. scratches. I was looking to use 0000 steele wool but I didn't know if I could buff it out and if i could what would I use to do it. I would like to make it match the paint finish and have perfection....us Marines strive for nothing less than perfection.
Thanks in advance for any imput on this.

Re: Removing scratches from chrome and polishing
Real chrome plating is very hard, and very thin.
You can't "remove" scratches in it, nor imperfections. The only proper fix is to replate. I would suggest not using steel wool. It may add to your problems.
