I have a 2007 Civic SI with NHPB paint and it's really soft. I had to use some Menzerna PO86RD after the M205 to make the finish perfect.

Just wondering, but why are you getting the MF Correction System and M105, M205?

Re: Getting ready for my inital order...

You will be hooked! I did the same thing over the last few months and I'm still awed by how my vehicles look .

I love my Griot's DA. Really powerful and doesn't bog down. At first I was really cautious and not using the right speeds (1 lower). Make sure you follow the recommendations on AG and use it on 5 for polishing and 3 for LSP. On speed 5 make sure your pads are really well centered.

I did not go with the Meguiar's polishes and chose Menzerna instead. They are all superb. I also went with the Hydro-tech pads. The Menzerna stuff works so well that I have still to need using the Hydro-tech Cyan pads. The 85RD is a superb polish for reasonably well maintained cars.

Love the Hydro-tech pads but after using them for a while I figured out that I needed an even softer pad for LSP. The crimson Hydro-tech still has a little bit of cut so it can induce some marring on LSP. I went with the blue LC flat pads - much softer. I like the flat pads a lot.

Last, Pinnacle Souveran wax. Superb wax! I follow it with Pinnacle Crystal Detail Spray and use that after every wash once the wax is on - makes it last a lot longer.

Have a great time with all that new kit!

    Best,

    Jose
