I'm not a leather expert but I would say Optimum Protectant Plus or Ultima Interior Guard Plus. Both protect from staining and UV. After the big knock down, drag out thread about using an apc, specifically OPC on leather, I will refrain from using advertised conditioners.

That has been answered has it not? Your 303 will work perfectly on encapsulated leather. For untreated leather any of the leather protection products will work such as Optimum, Lexol, and others.

Whilst most auto leather has a pigment coating and clear coat finish this does not make it 'vinyl' it is still leather and needs treating as such.
Ok, then clear or colored polyurethane would be more correct, sorry.

I agree with you and would add Collinite Leather and Vinyl wax and CarPro's new PERL to the list.

Optimum leather protectant is my favorite for leather. I'm not a fan of 303 for anything.

Re: optimum leather protectant vs 303 aerospace protectant

There are many products on the market that claim to protect leather against stains etc but very few of them actually work, particulalry on unfinished leather. The protection value is fairly simple to test if you are unsure which work and which don't.

Wax and oil based products should be avoided particulalry on finished leathers as they will simply attract more dirt to the surface of the leather which is what does the damage in the first place.

    Hope this helps
