Anyone dealt with this before? Gauge cluster plastic

Honestly I've only tried rainex/windex thinking it was a smudge. It looks fine when wet but after it dries it turns ashy white again

Its been kinda bothering me for a while but I can't seem to put a dent in it. Could it possibly be etched plastic? And if so how do I take care of it?

Pick up a bottle of Meguiar's PlastX and and a microfiber towel. With a little patience you should be able to polish that out. Good luck!

Without seeing the mark my only suggestion would be to remove the plastic window over the instrument cluster and polish it. I have had very good luck by using the two part Meguiar's products.

I always keep a bottle of Novus #2 in the tool box! Actually started using it as a paint polish for model cars, works great on the hobby enamels and lacquers.

If you can take it out-take it out. If you want it perfect it will save time in the long run. It's a tight spot and i dont know you can get the pressure evenly distributed the way I will need to be to get a good finish.
