    Leather Seat Cleaner

Turning in my '08 Audi Q7 after lease agreement. What is best product for cleaning leather seats back to new?

Since this is your first post...

    Welcome to Autogeek Online!

As to your question, a safe choice would be the Pinnacle Leather and Vinyl Cleaner as it's water based and won't hurt the stitching or dry out the leather.

Since this is a lease car you might not be as concerned about the safety of the products you're using but if you are the Pinnacle is effective and safe.

What's the problem you're trying to solve?

Essentially, I'm just trying to get the seats looking back to new. Athletic kids have made them dirty and they're beige in color.

IMO you might be better off just cleaning them with APC and then dressing them with something quick and shiny. Lease turn ins involve a quick look over of the paint and interior and not a thorough detailed inspection. They just want to make sure there are no stains on the carpets or rips/damage on the leather.

As my uncle, the GM of a mercedes dealership in kentucky, says dealerships like shiny stuff. He says lease turnins are easy to get by, just make sure the exterior is shiny and smooth and the interior doesn't have anything that jumps out at them. Also, an engine cleaning goes a long way, it makes the car seem driven less.

I really like the four star and ultima lines for just about anything in car care.

Four star have a leather cleaner gel and leather conditioner that leave seats looking and feeling really nice. The cleaner is simple to use and effective, it safe as anything i've seen so far. Also the conditioner is very effective and leaves the seats feeling soft and smooth (smells nice too)

Ultima also has an interior shampoo that is great for cleaning just about anything in the interior. If you follow with interior guard plus the leather will be protected and stay clean for a long time. Its a polymer sealant for the interior.Ultima Car Interior Clean, Protect & Preserve Kit, interior car care, rubber and vinyl cleaner protectant

I'd recommend leatherique for a complete overhaul.

The Leatherique pair is excellent. It is expensive but very much worth it.
