    94 Bronco Question

I'm heading up to Charlotte next week to deliver a computer that I built for my brother. He owns a 94 Bronco with the white and turquoise paint job. I have only seen it once, a few years ago, and the paint looked to be in good shape.

My question is.... can anyone tell me what kind of finish the 94 has (single stage, laquer, etc.) and would something like claying, M205 with PC 7424, sealant (Menzerna or DP) followed by a paste wax be in order.

    Thanks for any advice!

Where you at with this project?

A 1994 Bronco should have a basecoat/clearcoat finish. The process your listed will work as long as any defect you want to remove are shallow as the M205 is a finishing polish designed to be used after M105, which means it's designed to only have to remove any light swirls left by the wool pad or compounding process after using M105 in a body shop, in other words, it's not very aggressive.

    Re: 94 Bronco Question

    Thanks Mike

I haven't seen the Bronco in a couple of years so I don't know it's condition and if it will require something more agressive than the 205. I'll be there next week to check it out.

Appreciate the information about the basecoat/clearcoat.
