I figured! I think you guys are getting all the snow we are missing up here in Montreal. Regardless, be safe and take care.

+1 on the Power finish. This is almost the only polish I am using these days. Great cut with a cutting/wool pad and great finish with a finishing pad. Use it with a medium foam pad( like green LC/yellow meguiars)and then seal the paint a perfect one stepper polish.
You could always follow it up with a finer polish like PO85RD, but you will only see a slighty better gloss. And I promise 95% of the customers cant see a difference. So why spend more time then necessary? Wich means more time to polish more cars = more money to you.
Good luck!

What's the best all around pad(color) to use with power finish? I'm assuming power finish will leave less micro marring compared to SIP?

So when you say you use cutting and finishing pads, do you break it down once with the cutting then re-apply more product and break down with the other pad?

I thought the same thing. However, IMO, that would be pointless. If you're going to re-apply, use a finer polish.

+1
Usually a single stage polishing with the PF will be enough for just about any car. The darker colored cars are where the 85RD will almost always be warranted to get the "POP" out of the color that much more.
