Re: Machine Sanding Class at 2010 Mobile Tech Expo - Clearwater, Florida

I just got through watching an edited version of a Meguiar's wetsanding class on Youtube (Mike was there filming in the background) and it was pretty good. I'm not sure how old it was, but he used a 2500 grit and then mentioned a DA would not be able to remove the sanding scratches like a rotary. He then showed the haze that was left when he tried.

I have a PC XP and was wondering what it is capable of removing. 3000 grit?

You know I spell check everything with the I.E. Spell Check Add-on but you're right, there were a number of places where I used the word manufacture when it should have been one of the below...

    manufacturers

    or

    manufacturer

It's a clumsy word to say and with spell check if you're not paying close attention you can select the right spelling but the wrong word.

    I've fixed the misspellings...

I can tell you the problem, since I use spell check A LOT too, it does not consider it spell wrong either way... I always say as long as you know what I am saying then we are ok!!

AND to get back on topic, this class should be an awesome learning experience so I expect to see you there if you can make it!!! And don't forget to visit me at the booth, if this weather keeps up, bring coffee!!

    Just a follow-up...

Mobile Tech Expo Open to the Public

I just talked to Kevin Halewood who is in charge of this event and he said that this is a Trade Show for the Detailing and Reconditioning industry but the Mobile Tech Expo is open to the public. There are certain criteria that relates to how it is promoted that has to be met for certain aspects of the show but anyone interested in detailing can attend any of the classes on Thursday after they pay the attendance fee of $20.00 at the registration booth.
