Re: Water Sprite Chamois
Waffle Weave MF is the way to go ... Chamois, even synthetics have no nap and ability to handle a grain of sand and pull away from surface.

Its one of those things once you try it you will never go back to your old ways. I use my ww mf with a little qd and its a breeze just my 2 cents

Re: Water Sprite Chamois
When you have 25 cars to wipe off, how many Waffle Weave mf will you need. With a Water Sprite you only need one. I will admit that if you are doing one or two cars Waffle Weave is the way to go .

Just to add to this,
No chamois that's "wet" will leave a 100% droplet-free surface.
The technique I use and actually made a car wash video on the topic shows removing most of the water with a wet & ring chamois and then following up by blotting with a dry microfiber waffle weave chamois.
This is a two-step approach but insures no water droplets, tiny or small, or water streaks remaining on the finish.
At the time I though it was a little to D.O. and now in hindsight we were just barely scratching the surface of D.O.

Do you have a link to the video? By the way, what's "D.O."?

Ha! I'm not sure about the "D.O." either (damn abbreviations). But here's the Absorber, which I swear by. Wash them frequently with your microfibers and they last long, long time.

Re: Water Sprite Chamois
I just used my new waffle weave from poorboys and it is simply amazing as to how much this thing absorbs.

D.O. stands for Detail Oriented, it's the family friendly version of A.R.

The Absorber does absorb water well, but if a speck of sand or grit is on your paint you'll be dragging it across your panels. The waffle weave has little pockets to trap any debris thus less likely to scratch you paint.

Re: Water Sprite Chamois
I like my waffle weave for getting the big water off then taking the freahly wringed out water sprite to hit the finish and i usually go with QD later on.
Only thing I hate about the Big waffle weave towels are they are a PITA to wring out. You alsmot just have to leave them till they dry. once they are wet pretty much useless till they dry again
