DoDo Juice Wax letdown?

Hi I was thinking of using these to apply my sample size Dodo wax but in the description it states that the finger pockets have a degree of cut to them.
The foam has light cutting ability so it is perfect for polishing chrome without marring the finish. Finger Pockets
Is that the type of material you would want to use when applying wax?

We have both here in the shop, if I don't forget it I will feel them and weigh them both to compare.

I don't have any problems at all with Purple Haze. I did have a small problem with Blue Velvet sample jar. Because the wax is quite hard and the opening small it's difficult to get enough was on your pad evenly. With the big jar you don't have that problem because you can make more friction, melting de wax and get a good amount evely on the pad.

And the smell of Blue Velvet (Austintacious has the same).... I LOVE IT!!!!

As a newb, was curious about the surface "friction" test of determining the time to buff. True of all waxes? Seems to be the opposite of the "swipe" test which focuses on the wax closest to the paint.

Having hurt my hands from trying too hard, I like the straight-line method when I am in a hurry like the guy doing the video. Circular sweeps make me slow down and work the wax into the pores. Imagine it's personal preference. And you pros probably need to really focus if you want repeat business.... so it depends?

DA application.... wax goes on smooth, spreads evenly, goes farther, and comes off easier..... i dont think ill apply by hand anymore after i put some blackfire midnight sun on my supra the other day with my PC

I've compared the fingermitt from The Dodo and the Wolfgang version and they are NOT the same. The Wolfgang indeed has a little cutting on board. The Dodo mitt is for wax only, it's very soft. The Wolfgang mitt is a bit larger, firmer and a more open structure than the Dodo.
