Carpet/Cloth Dye
Okay,
I have never done anything with dye before. How hard is it and HOW do you do it? Any assistance would be greatful. Also, is there a link to a video on the "How To" on it?
The reason why I'm asking is if the Aztec Extractor does not take stuff out, I guess the only other thing one could do is dye it.

Re: Carpet/Cloth Dye
I've done it in the past using aerosol can carpet/vinyl dye. IMO the color is always off and it looks tacky. It also seems to make the carpet feel crusty. Unless you buy the kits that allow you to mix the color yourself and apply with an air brush, then I wouldn't waste my time. I have seen it done well with that method. You also need to be careful not to get overspray on any of the interior trim when doing it. I've seen a lot of used car lot hacks that have really made some interiors look bad.
IMO, if the stains done come out with the Aztek and spot cleaners, that I would just learn to live with the stains.
Hope this helps,
Rasky
