Okay, "new" is really inaccurate. My '84 Toyota Pickup was painted 2 yrs ago. But, it lives in the garage, has driven 1,200 miles, not seen rain, and been washed with mild carwash detergent.

It's a single stage paint job. The goal was NOT to create a show truck. The cab, hood, doors, and fenders were painted. The bed was powder coated to match.

At a minimum, I'd like to protect the paint from sap, bird s**t, UV, etc. It would be a bonus to level out the paint a bit and make it shine a little more. BUT. This truck does see light to mild off-road use. I don't want to thin the paint to the point that I can't re-re-re-polish out those light branch "pinstripes."

What would you suggest?

Thanks!
