    Re: Waterless wash/quick detail

These days, I'm almost all Optimum.

They just came out with a new watheleswash, but I've been using their Opti Clean. I wish that I had a product like that in the 90's.

    I also really liked Ech2o.

The place where I work is launching their own product line, and I love our waterless too. Probably my favorite product out of the line.

For quick detail, Optimum Instant Detaier & Gloss Enhancer. It's super glossy and super slick.

In that case I’d recommend this.
Meguiars D115. For me it’s the best waterless wash I’ve used.

It’s the concentrated version of this. You can dilute anywhere from 1:4 all the way up to 1:20
So at its highest concentration that gallon yields 5 gallons.
Or you can stretch that gallon to make up to 21 gallons.

I always mixed it at 1:4. You can waterless wash a full on dirty car no problem with that stuff and the protection it leaves is very legit.

I also have Carpro Ech20 and it’s ok, but using it especially at its most potent dilution is pretty much guaranteed to leave steaks/haze that you must come back and buff off whereas the Meguiars Waterless Wash you never have that issue of having to check for steaks or coming back to buff haze off your paint.

What dilution gives you streaking with ECH2O? I never experienced anything like that and I typically use a 1:20 or maybe a little thinner dilution as a quick detailer.
