    Re: Ceramic for new car

Yes, I plan to do a trim coating in the spring. I figure why not ceramic coat anything that can be coated; paint, trim, rims. And maybe 2 coats or a topcoat of something to extra protect, and prevent it from washing off. I'd like to be able to use the coin-op diy wash, or touchless drive thru once in a while.
This winter it'll only have Klasse sealant on, how does it withstand diy washes?

You should have no issues with a touchless wash and Klasse SG. I live in the Midwest and when winter sets in, my cars only see touchless washes until Spring arrives and the temps warm up. Klasse holds up just as well as any other quality sealant on the market today.

    Re: Ceramic for new car

So the winter rims I'm getting are black aluminum (steel rims are hard to find right now.) I want to coat them for some salt and grime protection. Was thinking of a spray graphene. Or being they are new, should I jump to ceramic? Trying to not have gobs of detailing to do this late in the year, but I'm getting the rims before the rubber is put on them, so that should make things easier.
    Your thoughts. Thanks.

    Re: Ceramic for new car

I bought 303 Touchless Sealant, was going to spray that over the Klasse Sealant, and the Perl on the plastic trim, and the new winter rims after Poorboys Pink protectant. Will it bond, and will that help the durability of the first products?
I assumed Perl was a top product for trim, but then read about UTTG; I'm looking for the best winter protection.
    Thanks.
