    EGO blower vs MasterBlaster

    Hey there,
I’m in the market for a water blower. Ive seen all the vids etc. but I’m still on the fence. Money isn’t the issues. From what Ive read the EGO blower can be extremely loud. I’m not sure the neighbors or my wife would be onboard. But on the other hand, it’s more versatile. The master blaster looks like it can get in tighter area’ s looks like it works well.
I only want to buy this once.

Can i get an option/recommendation please.
    Thank you
    Jim

Ego all the way. No cords or hoses plus can move around the car so much faster. Haven't touched by Master Blaster in years. Plus you can use the Ego for other stuff around the house.

Thanks. How does the EGO performance compare to the MasterBlaster?

I love my "blaster" but a cordless is nice. I see Blaster is 229 CFMs, EGOs smallest is 480 all the way up to 765. Don't forget a smaller "tube" is available for EGO. Not sure the specific models the shorty tube fits.

    Ego.

    I got the 615cfm model.

It's shocking how much air it puts out.
It's not as loud as you might think

EGO has more than enough power. I have the 765 and with the 5.0ah battery it came with I can dry multiple vehicles on a single charge. Worth every penny.

    Re: EGO blower vs MasterBlaster

i had a master blaster years ago and sold it. IMO, they (metro) need to improve on features that some of the other blowers already have. a self expanding hose, and twist and lock connection points are two main things (like the pic below). drying is the last stage of the wash and cordless is the way to go (would be my choice). no dragging around a hose, worrying about tipping over the dryer and/or smacking the hose against the paint, and also storing it after...

    i am the jump starter.

Thank you all for your opinions. It’s helping me lean more towards the blower. I’m thinking EGO 615 I guess.
    Thanks again

There are some differences depending when it was manufactured (before or after 2019) that can impact the stubby nozzle fitment. stubby nozzle co makes 2 different nozzles to fit old and new generation blowers.

the EGO 765 is pretty loud. i use earplugs or noise cancelling earbuds (which are ok if i'm not holding it that close to my ears).
