    Rupes 21mm with a 5" pad... is a 15mm still better?

    Hi, guys...
I have owned a Rupes 21 Mark II for 6 years now. I also have a Mini (3") and the Nano (1").
about 2 years ago I change the original backing plate (6") for the 5", so I could work on smaller areas and year too big for the 3" machine.

however, when it comes to curves, I wonder if the 15mm would be better. Or the 21mm with 5" pad is already
good when it comes to curved areas and to buy a 15mm would be superfluous. I don't know if I had a 15mm machine I would face similar pad stalling and need to change to smaller machines.

    note: I've never used a 15mm machine.

You have a nice arsenal! Why stop there? Get a forced rotation. I love my FLEX but you can always go Hercules.

I don't really like forced rotation polishers. If I were to buy a new one it would be a 15mm and sell My 21mm.
But I'm not quite sure if it is worth the trouble...

Maybe the 21mm with 5" pad and the Mini and Nano combination are all I need and I'm overthinking it.

I have the 15 and it is my go to for polishing. I remember when I was deciding whether to go 15 or 21 and Clean Garage talked me in to the 15.

I can say that a forced rotation machine is smoother than a long throw DA.
