    Removing CarPro Ech20

    Hey guys,

Tomorrow I plan on ceramic coating my car for the first time with Gyeon Mohs, however a couple of weeks ago I used Ech20 as a drying aid so this needs to be removed as I’m seeing it contains siO2.

What’s the best way to remove it? Things I have at my disposal: Descale, Gyeon Lift, CarPro reflect + PC. I’ll also be washing the car at a detail shop so other products will be available.

    Thank you.

Light buffing pad and your reflect will fit the bill. and an IPA

It does not leave durable protection behind. The SiO2 is in there for gloss and not protection. A high alkaline or acidic wash should easily take care of it. If you want to be certain a quick pass with Reflect will certainly remove it as well as bring out the gloss of the paint.

Couple of weeks it’s probably gone. If polishing I would just do what your planning. If not Reset would probably remove it but would use something Alklaline or Acidic to be safe.

Thank you guys. Seems like the Descale alone got rid of it. Polished the entire car as well and now waiting to do the coating on Sunday.

If the descale didn't didn't get rid of it then the polishing certainly did, you'll be fine.

I've gotten a couple weeks out of ECH2O on bare paint.
