Compound removal from rubber and plastic parts

I remember using some old Meg's stuff that was working fine, but forgot the name of it.

So what do you guys use to remove a compound mess that stays after you touch plastic or rubber parts on your car.

Meguiar's #39 was great but they no longer make that. McKee's 37 has a product for that that works fine. Also a regular rubber eraser can be quite useful.

Meguiar's M39 is your answer, except they decided to discontinue it.

I have also had good results with Nextzett Plastikreiniger (PM me if you want the link).

It's really funny how some companies decide to discontinue products that everyone likes.

Looks like Nextzett Plastikreiniger is available in AU, luckily.

Is it as good as 39 ?

Very similar, M39 holds a slight edge though.
