Not that I typically watch torture test videos, but one that comes to mind featured a selection of prep sprays attempting to remove previously applied paint sealants. The prep sprays didn't really touch the cured sealants, even after repeated hits.
Which leads me to believe these products are only valuable in removing polishing oils and other mild contaminants prior to coating, rather than expecting them to strip waxes and sealants in one simply spray and wipe action.
Agreed, the whole reason I went with a Primer polish is b/c I hate IPA wipe-downs, how grabby they feel as they start to flash off and how ridiculously expensive they are for just being water diluted isopropyl alcohol. Instead of spending $16 for a bottle of eraser, I'd rather pay an extra $16 to upgrade to a primer polish and not waste time and risking marring by doing an IPA wipedown.

The get the Dr. Beasley's primer polish. Those require no panel wipe.
