    Fuzion Paste melting point?

I have an empty 3oz jar that I would like to refill from an 8oz. I can scrape the wax from the larger to fill the smaller one, but I want to re-liquify it (or close to it) to properly mold / fill the container.

So, does anyone know the melting point? Would putting a container of it in a pan of hot / boiling water work? Asking first, because I don't want to make a mess with the pink gold.

    Thanks

One option is to try leaving it in the sun? I wouldn't mess with such a pricey wax and risk losing some.

Thanks yes, I even messaged AG and they said they had never tried. I think I may just scrape off a couple teaspoons (< 1oz) and see if I can press it into the smaller jar.

Sun is not a problem to soften it, I am in S FL.

I have a friend that melted some down with a butter/syrup warmer . He poured into smaller container to give me a sample. I used it, liked it and bought the 8 oz . I noticed zero difference in terms of application, look or durability. I would imagine the key was the low temp of the warmer he used.

I've done this, but not with Fuzion.

But it will have a pretty low melting point.

Use the double broiler method. Go slow. It will seem like nothing is happening, then melt pretty quick.

    Melt the whole container.
    Stir.
    Scoop out what you want.
    Then let cool and resolidify.

After a day if detailing it is easier to walk around the car and handle the smaller container. And was going to share some with a friend.

In any case, it worked fine. I just needed to take it easy loading up the pad because it was already so loose.
