Will APC Prewash Degrade Cancoat Evo?

I applied Cancoat Evo to my 2014 Honda Accord about 6 months ago. I have not been able to wash the car in at least 7 or 8 weeks, so it is a lot dirtier than normal. I was thinking of doing an APC prewash using Optimum Power Clean diluted 3 to 1. Will using this APC on Cancoat Evo weaken or degrade it? I know an APC can degrade a normal wax or sealant, but I was curious if Cancoat Evo can handle an APC Prewash.

I welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

what do you consider dirty....can you post a photo

Can’t speak from direct experience of them together but having used both I wo7kd think if there was any it would be negligible.

Never used apc.

But i will tell you i have hammered the buick with atleast 12 prewashes of bh touchless, 2 of carpro descale and no noticable degradation

I don't think so. I've used Optimum Power Clean (undiluted pH 11) at 5:1 for a preasoak and it never degraded Can Coat. OPC works fantastic if you foam it and let it dwell for a few minutes.

I dont care how dirty your car is in 7 weeks......if Can coat is the LSP you can wash it with baby shampoo and it will come clean......my $0.02

How many times do I have to tell you, drive BY the window where they are making your chocolate shake, not THROUGH the window where they are making your chocolate shake...

CanCoat Evo has a ph tolerance of 2-11. As long as your APC is below 11 your good. I’m sure it’s better for coating not to use it but you should be fine.

Go for it. You probably have lots of cancoat left. Apply another layer whenever you want.

This! It's CanCoat...one of *the* greatest care care products ever invented (IMO :lol: ). Things start acting a little drab, 15 minutes, another layer of CanCoat and happiness is restored!
