Tire DressingS... So many choices... Geez!
Wanted:
1) I don't like a spray - Prefer to wipe-on/off
2) Low to medium shine
3) Not a dust/dirt-collector
4) No spin-off
And I want a product that I can purchase off-the-shelf from my local auto store.
Simple... Yes? :-)

How hard is it to spray tire dressing on an applicator and wipe? It's never been an issue for me.

As expensive as that stuff is getting doing it this way is a smart move. I use to spray on (and waste)

Duragloss 253 may still be available at some local stores. But after trying quite a few, I ended up going back to DG 253 because it works well on my challenging Michelin tires. Most dressings don’t like them.

Have you ever diluted it? I have about 3 different gallons of tire product. VRP, Tire Kicker and Duragloss and am serious considering trying this route:
Stop Using Tire Shine - YouTube
I already have the pancake compressor and a new sprayer.

Over the counter only? I would say Meguiar's Hyper Dressing, the pre-diluted version will give a low-medium sheen, wont sling and won't collect dust/dirt.

I am not sold on products easily, but you recommend this product so often that I will be giving it a try.
Turtle wax should send you a years supply for being a unpaid representative

I also tried TWHSGTSC but I didn’t like it as much. It was harder to get a consistent look when wiping it on though I didn’t want to have to come back and wipe later as the instructions suggest. And while I know the TW dressing was still there because the tires were beading water, it certainly didn’t look like my tires were still dressed. From a looks perspective I felt DG 253 lasted longer though TW actually lasted longer due to beading but not looks. Again, this is on Michelin Pilots, which seem to be more problematic.
I still need to compare Hyper Dressing to DG 253 on tires.
And I have not tried diluting DG 253 as a bottle lasts me a long time and is fairly economical though I do wish the gallon was cheaper and available at more stores.
