Yeah it's the reason i'm still trying to get one figured out - coating that is. I will be applying cancoat again this summer.

The self-cleaning properties are evident. Even just sitting in the driveway i could tell it was rather clean after some rain.

I'm back on the cancoat wagon! haha

Well, I tossed the Cancoat out and decided to give MOHS EVO a shot. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

    Re: Challenges with Gyeon Cancoat

I have had my CanCoat in the original bottle for about 14 months, it’s still looks fine, and works fine. However, the top was getting a little crusty and rough to open, so I transferred it to an a hermetically sealed mason type glass jar. The original bottle is pretty cheap, imo, with bad sealing capability. The idea that they give you three sprayers, just illustrates how half baked Their idea is for longevity. After I crust over the sprayers, what then? This stuff is too expensive to waste with crystallization.

To use it, I take a microfiber brick with a medicine dropper, put 3 to 4 drops down the middle, and then apply it to the surface. I can see it go on, and with a quick buff the surface is perfect. It works every time. I use it all over my painted parts of my motorcycles, and my helmets every 6 mo or so. I no longer own a car but the application of CC I put on 9 mo ago looked good when I turned my lease in.

My medicine dropper cleans out every time with isopropyl alcohol. So I have no idea why they can’t recommend you cleaning out the sprayer the same way instead of giving you the three that are going to eventually clog up and become trash. I may be missing something here, but…

But i agree it's not "easy" to use. It stinks, clogs up sprayers, grabby wipe off and it will leave high spots like any coating. It works but i don't think it's in the "easy" category sorry folks lol

Caveat: This is all relative. In a garage, cancoat would be pretty straight forward. But again easy would not be a word i would use to describe cancoat lol
I have to agree. I love the product but not applying it. Atleast if its to black paint. Cuz then i see streaks and what not. I think ill giver another go though as well.

Just buy some cheap plastic cosmetic sprayers at Walmart for a $1. They work fine for spray products providing the CanCoat isn't too thick.

I just use a Autofiber large thin saver and an eye dropper. Doesn’t take me that much longer than a MF towel.

The thick or thin ones? The thin ones will ruin you for any other applicator out there.
