Pads stained from 3D speed?
Hi everyone - picked up some 3D speed and used it on a couple different cars in the last week. First I used it will white CG hex pads and second with yellow rupes pads. My white CG pads are now pink and my yellow rupes pads are orange. I've always washed my pads under warm water with pad cleaner and always got the pads back to the original color. I soaked a rupes pad face down in a mix of water and pad cleaner for 6 hours and it's still orange. Is this just normal with 3D speed? I assume I can continue to use these pads without issue?

Totally normal.
You're good to go.

I haven't used 3D products, but totally normal. Other polishes do it too. Hyper polish stained my white pads pale blue. The older Blackfire and Wolfgang polishes are purple and made all of my white pads gray.
Not sure why companies color their products. Since there are plenty of good ones out there which are white, it doesn't seem to be needed.

Agreed, just make them white. Maybe they do it for easy to identify if you switch bottles or if you have product on a pad and you lost track if that's compound or polish but if that's the only reason, it's not enough. White would be fine.

Yes, that's normal with 3D HD Speed.
