Wolfgang equivalent to Meguiars Scratch-X 2.0 ?
I have a lot of Wolfgang products for auto detailing. I'm watching a YouTube video on restoring the luster on a vintage Singer sewing machine.
Note that Singer uses SHELLAC, so it's important to avoid using alcohol (or even lots of water) to clean it. (A full restore would be French Polishing, but for now I just want to clean it up.)
The repair guru uses Meguiars Scratch-X 2.0 and loves it. It does seem to work. The video is dated April 2021.
Two questions: Is the "2.0" the older or the newer version? Or is it the same product, just relabeled? AutoGeeks says "2.0" is discontinued.
Is there a Wolfgang product that would be the equivalent? I'm hoping I don't have to go and buy something else if I have it in my garage!
thank you!

Scratch X is likely between a compound and polish so what do you have for correcting paint?

I use Wolfgang's Finishing Glaze.
Also WG Paint Works Polish Enhancer for removing old wax.
And Meguiars Ultimate Polish.
The shellac surface has quite a few scratches, but it's important not to dissolve the shellac or it can damage the decals. But this guy is using Scratch-X without issues. And now that I have the motor off, I can test products on a hidden area.
I also have Wolfgang:
Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
Deep Gloss Liquid Seal
Deep Gloss Spitz Sealant
Fuzion Estate Wax
One of those might be good for the final shine?

There's not much of a comparison to make at all but if you HAD to compare... Wolfgang TSR would be closest in terms of intended use. Personally I am not a fan of TSR at all or FG. I question the quality of the products relative to any forms of correction and it's competition. I'm happy with Uber though.
