Fake and ideal chrome and how to remove faint scratches
Hi all, this is the trunk of a brand new 2022 Infiniti QX60. Are these plates at the edge of the trunk or painted chrome-like plastic? We went to the beach today and there was some sand on the plates. I’m not sure if the hairline scratches which I cannot feel with my finger we were there before or I cause then when I used a hand vac with brush attachment to get the sand off the plates. Depending on if it’s real or plastic, what if anything can I use to get out the scratches? Thanks!
