Best towels for removing wax and product?
I'm in the market for some new microfiber towels but am wondering what people recommend for tasks like removing polishing compounds or waxes, etc? I am thinking microfiber, edgeless and something in the 350-500 GSM range? Does that seem adequate or should I be looking at other things? Any absolutely favorite towels out there? Thanks!

Re: Best towels for removing wax and product?
TRC Eagle Edgeless 350 if you want to order in larger quantities. And sometimes a 300 for the initial wipe as the lower nap removes better and the longer nap is better for final wipe. But many also do a 3 towel wipe. Initial wipe off towel, wipe again towel, and really make sure you got it all towel. As you use them, the first towel gets thrown in a bucket to soak (with APC or towel cleaner) and then towel 2 becomes the initial wipe off, 3rd towel is 2nd wipe off, and then a new towel 3. Repeat..

100% for sure low nap for initial removal and a longer for final wipe
There are several available that come 2 sided just like that- short on one side longer on the other so you can just flip 'em over

Griot's wax removal towels are excellent.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

300-400 gsm…work perfect…Short nap side to remove wax, higher nap side to buff….

For removing polishes and compounds I like The Rag Company 365.
I've been using pearl weave for removing sealants and waxes

I went with one of Mike P's most recommended towels and now I have a couple dozen of them. The Rag Company FTW (For The Windows) towels. They are a twist-loop weave like a Griot's PFM but with a lower nap. I use them for almost every paint-related task. They are awesome for polish removal, waterless washes, rinseless washes, sealant/wax removal, and basically anything else. Only thing I prefer a different towel for is for applying a spray sealant, as these absorb too much product, and for coating removal. They produce ZERO lint too, even straight out of the bag new.
