LED Lighting
Mike,
Do you have a favorite type of LED light for ceiling mounted fixtures? I've heard conflicting things about 5,000K vs. 6,500K. Any insight you have would be awesome.
Thanks.

Re: LED Lighting
In my garage I have 4000K and 6500K. The 4000K is a lot nicer to work with but on dark paint, the 6500K makes the defects more visible. But other than using it to see a defect, I find the more yellow 4000K much nicer to use.
So to spot defects on a panel by panel I like my Scangrip Multimatch R which allows me to choose from like 2500K to 6500K and that helps adjust the light to the optimal output based on vehicle color. I find that light ones like white or silver are easier to spot defects with a more yellow light and the dark colors are easier with the more blueish color (above 5000K).
