Best way to protect rest if vehicle during buffing ?

What is the best way to protect the rest of the vehicle (from buffing dust) when using a da buffer? I have been using painters tape to surround the immediate area and simply throwing a sheet over the hood. I’m trying to avoid having to clay the car after buffing. The dust seems to stick ...

    thank you

Use some modern products that do not dust.

    What are you using now?

Thank you. Just looked at their products. Is the polish the one I need to remove swirls? (Yellow bottle )

    There are a few options.

What are you trying to accomplish?

    Heavy defect removal? Moderate?

Correcting Cream would be your starting point.

But this all depends on many factors, such as: What type of vehicle? Hard or soft clearcoat? What pads are you planning to use?
