    Sticker residue removal

Just got a new truck. There is some (rough feeling) adhesive residue left from a sticker removal. Is regular Goof Off safe to use to remove this?

I'd say it's safe, give it a try.

Spray some onto a utility microfiber towel, hold it against the residue and allow the Goof Off to dwell and penetrate for about 45 seconds to a minute.

    Then try wiping it off.

Things like this tend to work best, easiest and safest, (no marring of the paint), if you give the product time to dwell and "do it's thing", which is penetrate and dissolve.

The mistake some people make is apply product to adhesive, (or tar and sap), and then immediately RUB.

    Let time be your friend.
