Ozone Generators.....do they really work?

Looking at picking up an ozone machine soon, but still a little hesitant. Do they really work? I get a lot of musty odors in cars up here in WA and would love to get them smelling great again. A lot of the odors are hidden in the interior panels and just can't be reached. Ozone or no? Right now I'll use a Megs AiRefresh bomb but wonder about the long-term effectiveness of them.

I've been researching these lately as well. Prices from $39.99 to $699! I don't mind landing in the middle somewhere if I can charge an extra $25-$50 per detail to help pay for it. But it has always sounded like a gimmick to me, "magically turn on this machine for an hour and viola!!" I'll be interested to hear from someone with experience using them.

I use the ozone machine now in every interior detail I do. I'll run it for maybe 10 to 15 minutes at the end of the detail while I'm packing up. Because of this, I've gotten so many reviews about how nice there car smells. Really leaves a fresh smell, and customers comment almost every time. I think I paid about $250 for mine on Amazon. I get a lot of business with this machine.

I use mine on every detail. If the car is really bad I'll run several cycles through it as I work on the outside. What's been great is that when customers comment on it, and notice their windows are perfect (I always clean inside of windows) I remind them that I can make the interior like new too. It's lead to more business for me and where it doesn't it's just as impactful to customers.

yes....it works really well and the unit pay itself....i charge between 50 and 75 per tratment and have 0 issues or complains
