wolfgang ceramic prep and finnish
Why do all the manufactures produce an array of products but don't just give a simple list of instructions as to the order to use their products? Can you just list the order and products from wolfgang uber for prep of the quartz sealant and what to do after application is done. I'm confused on what to use after compounding and swirl remover but before application of quartz sealant. And what to use immediately after to seal the quartz. Thank you for kind replies.

That’s because every car will need something different. If you have hard paint chances are Total Swirl Remover will leave the finish ready for the coating. But you may want to use Finishing Glaze for added gloss or to finish better on softer clear coats. Then you’ll need to chemically strip the paint to remove all oils. Then comes the coating. After that you can use an SiO2 spray sealant to top the coating but it’s not a must.

There's literally a bazillion choices of product to do this. Most of the manufacturers have a product ... examples like Blackfire Paint Prep, Carpro Eraser, Wolfgang Perfekt Finish Paint Prep, Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Surface Prep, McKee's makes a coating prep wash and you might also use their N-914 product as a paint prep (in proper dilution), etc. etc. Other than using the N-914, Carpro Eraser is probably the most economical choice, ie. most product for the money, $20 for 33oz.
As for using ISP, you might want to read this article Mike once posted about ISP :

There are quite a few companies that make a prep spray. Any of them will work just fine.

As someone that writes a LOT - I understand your frustration.
The good news is at least there's this forum where you'll normally get more in-depth information than you'll ever find from any manufacturer.
