No water based dressing will last as long as a solvent based dressing.

I won't use anything other than an acrylic tire coating. They dry completely, don't let dirt stick to them. They are glossy if you apply a couple of coats. Driving in the rain has no effect on them. Uv rays will break it down over time. I get two to three very solid months with cars parked outside 24/7. Over a year on weekend cars kept in the garage. If you want to know the brand private message me due to forum rules.

most (water based) tire dressings are going to wash off in the rain at some point, so when you re-wash the car you can re-apply. if you want something that's going to last longer (and is more durable), look into a tire coating...

Griot's Black Shine G E L, don't bother with the aerosol IMO, also, Gyeon Tire is another winner!!

Re: Looking for a High Gloss Tire Shine that doesn't sling.
I have been using Tuff Shine which holds up well but the shine does mute some raily quickly which is fine for me. This year I am trying M37's tire coating which seems quite similar to the Tuff Shine. I am prepping a new set of snow tires for winter and just finish coating them and the shine is pretty good but is my 1st time with this product so no idea on how long the shine will last.
Here is a shot of the prep I did and 2nd after 4 coats.
