Daily Driver Best Protecting Wax
Newbie question, what is your opinion of the best hand or machine wax for a daily commute car that sees all the elements? I want something that looks good but lasts longer than 1 month. 2015 F150 4 door short box, 2014 Subaru Forester.

Thanks.

A good one-step of HD Speed or Blackfire AIO. Followed up by Megs Ultimate Fast Finish sealant, or Collinite 476 double coat.

I just began using Collinite 915, and WOW, it gives an unbelievable shine, and water beading/sheeting. Rain water blows right off.
I have found it to clean up effortlessly. I've been hosing off the car, pulling into the garage, and rinseless wasing. Hardly any dirt on my rinseless towels after the wash is complete.
Some have reported having problems removing the wax when applying, but it's likely due to being put on too thick. Always remember Mike Phillips' words:
THIN IS IN!
I cannot comment on 915's longevity, but it should last a good 7-9 months on a daily driver.
It's relatively cheap for a high-end wax.
I highly recommend it!

Re: Daily Driver Best Protecting Wax
I have been getting a solid year out of Meguires #21 Synthetic sealant. Easy to apply and remove. This is in Michigan with crappy winters and hot summers. Some of my long time customers only ask for that as it lasts and gets solid water beading throughout the year.

Re: Daily Driver Best Protecting Wax
I’ve not had solid water beading for more than a month or two out of M21.
I agree the Collinites are a great option for the OP, and if you you want to include true sealants, the likes of PBL Diamond Sealant, Wolfgang or Powerlock would all be options that can get you up to 6 months for a dd.

Collinite 845 never let me down. Looked great and was very durable.
Another good option might be Sonax Polymer Net Shield.

+1 for Collinite 476s. Collinite 845 and 915 would also do well for you.

Meguiar's UFF. Very durable and easy to use. Can boost with optimum car wax.
Can't imagine using a hazing type wax or sealant anymore.
