    Desired results not achieved

First off thank for all the contributions on this forum.

Used a 7424xp with m09 with orange pad on 2002 bmw yesterday. Followed up with m07 glaze. I clayed before too.

I can still still scratches on trunk and hood under sure.

    1. Do I risk burning the clear coat if I go back with m02 and orange pad?
    2. Do I leave it alone as it's a daily?

I did hand polish using m09 a year ago.

    Also bought the kit here!

    Thanks

I don't think there's any risk of "burning" the clear using the PC and Meg's #02.

There may be a slight risk of cutting through on raised body lines if you work them too much or dwell in one spot for too long.

It's up to you whether or not it's worth it. Some of the scratches in the trunk pic look like they may be too deep to remove, but it's hard to tell through a picture. You may be better off just trying to reduce their appearance through polishing or a light compound.

Would you recommend going back with white or orange pad? And which polish?

#02 has very little cut in the range of options. I would suggest stepping up to M205 with a white or even an orange pad. If you still need more then I would step up to M105.
