Re: Detailer destroyed my leather seats?
Send them a certified letter stating that your seats are in terrible condition, you want to know the contact info for their insurance company.
Step 2, meet with a lawyer, pay the money to have him send a letter
Get a quote from the dealer to replace seats and follow lawyer's advice.
He's playing stupid games with you, he should win a stupid prize.

For lack of a better term, That really sucks. I'm sure you take pride in your truck, and to have the seats ruined by a hack business that claims they "don't know who did it" is terrible.
Not rubbing salt into your wound, but this is exactly why I will never trust my truck to anyone but me. Period.
I'm sorry this happened to you. :/
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Oh how convenient... And what a big investigation it must take for them to find out which baffoon was working that day.. That's gotta be infuriating. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge/refund for that?

Re: Detailer destroyed my leather seats?
A highly caustic cleaner could have caused softening of the coating. Or grit on a towel that was scrubbed across the seat... or a too-stiff brush. Or someone had a big bunch of keys hanging on their belt loop and slid across the seat while wiping the dash. I suppose the possibilities are many. Sorry, OP. That's a bummer all the way around. I always hesitate to sling allegations, as sometimes accidents happen. But someone failed here. It is a detailing business after all. It's kinda like a doctor not washing his hands after seeing a previous patient. Stuff like that shouldn't happen. And if it does, as a detailer, you fess up and fix it.

unbelievable. When u say it looks worse now does that mean it looked bad before

Thank you
I would neutralize with water and take your hand and rub the seats and see if those nibs will release. My guess they used a very strong caustic cleaner.
