Chrome Headers and Side Pipe Cleaning on a 1966 Corvette
Hi Mike -
Been moving up the detailing food chain now since taking your class this Spring. Moved from $250 daily driver details to $800+ classics! Spoiled by working on cool cars in your class. Will be writing an article soon on how to secure classic car details from local car shows. I get average 4 per show and am now booked through August.
Anyway - looking for any tips (do's/don'ts) when polishing chrome headers and side pipes. Since they carry extreme heat wondering if products such as McKees37 Fast Metal polish or other brands used for exterior chrome trim are heat safe. Also looking to use the same product on Harley's (I get more requests than cars!). Thanks in advance and open to anyone else with comments!
