Prosthetic Leg
How did Mike Phillips lose his leg? I have seen pictures on the site with a prosthetic. Hopefully I'm not getting to personal by asking this. Mike if your reading this my heart goes out to you buddy.

Re: Prosthetic Leg
Jesus man, try to show a little couth. Having a prosthetic clearly hasn't hampered Mike Phillips from being a better detailer and 10x more successful than the rest of us combined.

Re: Prosthetic Leg
I'm sure Mike wouldn't mind telling someone, or talking about it. It's nothing feel ashamed of or hide, and he does neither.
And like you said, It certainly hasn't stopped Mike from becoming one of the best in the world at his profession, and clearly one of the most successful.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Re: Prosthetic Leg
Mike discusses it in this thread. He states:
I would rather have people know than guess...

It was a horrific accident and we're blessed to have him survive and be here!

You are certainly right, Mike definitely has no problem telling people. He is the prime example of someone that may have a prosthetic but his leg cleary hasn't been a "handicap".
I think it's completely fine for the OP to ask Mike what happened! It wasn't the question that I thought showed lack of class. If I was Mike I'd be sick of people following up the question by expressing their sympathy...After all, he is Mike-mothertruckin'-Phillips!

Agreed. Let's just call Mike Phillips "The Weed". You just can't kill him.

I don't think he was being uncouth; I read it as someone who was curious.
