I'm with Frank. Get a can of Tarminator and some throw away terry towels. Just be sure to let the Tarminator dwell for a few minutes so it can do its job.

Be careful with the film that you have. Tar-X at least says to avoid.

I'm thinking some Goo Gone, or Stoner Tarminator with throwaway towels. Just wipe it very carefully, not scrub. Follow up with APC, then wash and wax/seal.
After it's clean, you should then go sit in your room and think about what you've done, young man!

Looks like some road paint there too. That stuff is a pain. You almost have to pick it off, or let it soak forever. I think I have heard of some people using plastic razor blades to help remove them then polish after.

Mineral Spirits and a cheap MF Rag is my go-to. Works great. Then wash it off with soap and water.

Lol oh I've been thinking about what I've done the whole time. Unfortunately I didn't have a garage or the tools do do anything till we bought our house last October and I finally got to get everything out of storage. But I'll definitely keep up with it now once I get it cleaned.
