    #26 Reformulated?

I recently got some #26 Hi Tech Yellow Paste Wax, its not the same light color it used to be, looks almost identical to Gold Class Carnuaba Plus, doesn't have the same smell either.

    When did the formula change?

That's interesting. Guess I'm not selling off my old tins of M26 just yet.

The did reformulated M07 Show Car Glaze recently. Used to be beige, but is now white.

I have the new can, my first, so didn't have anything to compare it to, have you tested old vs new side by side?

    Strange...
    My tubs of M26 aren't red/black.

I seem to recall that Meguiar's may
have tweaked M26 a few years back:
    VOC regulations/compliance, et al.

    I suppose a fellow could PM Mike Stoops;
I'd bet he'll have the real M26 skivvy.

It's quite possible, Mike Phillips just posted about #7 going through a slight change:

    Just to chime in...

When I worked for Meguiar's standard operating procedures on the R&D side was to update any and all formulas when new technology was available and applicable.

Most of the time there's no announcement, press release or fanfare over the change it's simply done as a rolling change.

For example, M20 and M26 are two products that have been updated continuously since they were introduced in the 1970's. If they made an announcement every time they updated a formula that could be a full time job and it would really be all about nothing.

Sometimes you just have to trust the name on the label and trust that the chemist that do the formulations know what they're doing and have you and the company's best interests at heart.

I can remember in the early 1990's M26 liquid went FLORESCENT YELLOW as a part of color coding it with the first introduction of the Pro Detailer Line.

So in other words don't give up on it.

I recently got some Mother's Carnuaba #3 so curious to see, maybe I'll do one side with one.
