One step polishes for ceramic clear coat?

Any suggestions? Im just looking for a one step POLISH, not an AIO. Looking at Powerfinish 203, but is there anything else that would work equally as well on ceramic clear coat? Looking for some suggestions as I am looking for something that would look nice without needing a finishing polish after. Thanks!

I think Power finish is a good choice, I've had my eye on it but I have no excuse to buy more polish. If you don't think you'll need that much cut maybe try po106fa, or even XMT360, not as much "bite" but it finishes nicely and adds a sealant at the same time for even more time savings.

Depends exactly how much cut you want. 3 products I would try as a one-step would be Pinnacle XMT 360 as mentioned, Menzerna PO203 (will cut like Intensive Polish, finish like 106FA...but still not much cut), and Meguiar's #105 with a polishing pad.

How deep or serious are the defects you're trying to remove?

One step polishes also called a "Cleaner/Polish" usually don't have as much abrading ability as a dedicated compound.

Matt's suggestion of M105 with a polishing pad might work you also might look at either WG TSR which is a Swirl Mark Remover, (medium to light paint defects), or M86 which is less aggressive than M105 but more aggressive than M205. M86 uses SMAT and can be used with just about any pad on any paint system.

While I was with Meguar's one thing thier chemists did was formulated compounds and polishes that work on any paint system, that's why you don't see specfic products for PPG's Ceramiclear Paints.

M105 with Polishing pad works great
XMT360 has a decent amount of cut. I like using this on metallic vehicles

Thanks Mike, I will try to post some pics when I get back from school this weekend. Its my mothers car, she could probably care less about swirls (but I do) but I don't want to spend the whole weekend working on her car if she wont notice the huge difference. Plus its an SUV so its pretty big. So I guess I am looking for some degree of paint correction, gloss and MAX PROTECTION. Thats why I figured I might be able to do Powerfinish 203 and a few coats of Duragloss 105 to seal the paint off for a while. Its an '07 BTW so the paint isn't too bad at all. BUT I already have Megs M105/M205, so not buying another product (i.e. Menzerna) would be a HUGE plus for me.

105 as a one step? Interesting, which pad should I use? White?

Would 205 be the logical choice though?

Matt, when you say "Meguiar's #105 with a polishing pad",will a Blue LCC pad work or should I go with something like a Gray LCC?

Blue and gray are way too soft to use with a compound. I wouldn't use M105 with anything less than a white polishing pad.
