    Fix garage door rash

Hi All. New to detailing my cars. I have a new PC polisher and Lake Country Thinpro 5.5"pads (orange, white, black and red) on the way. I have not ordered any other products yet. My first project is my daughter's car. It is a 2013 Honda Civic. Other then the rash, the paint is in good shape. I was planning on claying, polishing and applying a sealent on it. I need to work on the rash. I was looking for help with method, products and where in detailing process I should address it?
    Thanks,

Wash, rinse, clay, dry, address scuff marks. I'd bet that would come out with a light polish and polishing pad.

If it is latex paint, isopropyl alcohol will help immensely to remove the paint.

I second the IPA to help with paint removal. Start with a polish on a cutting pad see how it does. You may need to move up to a compound or even a mild wet-sanding starting at 3k or 2500, then polish out with a compound > polish> sealant / wax of your choice. But most i have seen like that come off with IPA and some compounding with a DA.

    Good luck!

Sounds like a good plan. I will give that a try. Thanks
