Griots Garage DA BP?
So i recently purchased a PCXP and well lets just say im not that big of a fan of it. so im planning on getting a Griots Garage DA and was wondering what size of backing plate does it come with? im asking this because i want to use 5.5 pads with it and i dont know if backing plate it comes with is suitable for 5.5 pads. i see that AG pictures it with a BP and says to attach a 6.5 pad but i dont want to use 6.5 pads. for you guys that have this da, whats the actual size that it comes with? OR should i buy this adapter D.A Adapter 5/8" X 11 because i have a 4 3/4 inch rotary that i love how it fits with the 5.5 pads i have. any advice from you GG DA users would be very much appreciated!

Not sure if you are aware but you can replace the backing plate with any size DA backing plate. As soon as I opened my Griot's DA I swapped the backing plate for a Lake Country 5". My 6" backing plate sits in the box.

On a side note. It (6") works great with 6.5" Surbufs

I have the adapter to use with the 1-Pad system (who remembers that?) and I see your point. I have 2 5" backing plates in case something happens to one. Really this is your decision to make but my vote goes to buying a DA backing plate.
